How Coronavirus Spread From Wuhan City To The Rest Of The World
Coronavirus is a viral disease that researchers believe began in the food market at Wuhan City in China. The fast spread is mostly due to limited information regarding the infection. The virus spreads from person to person when people are nearby within about 6 feet. Respiratory droplets from a person with a virus or touching contaminated surfaces contribute to spreading.
Scientists have beyond the mystery trying to assess the reasons contributing to widespread infection from the epicenter to other cities in China and other countries.Below are some of the reasons for the fast spread from Wuhan.
Concealment by Government
The Chinese government is more transparent about coronavirus that it was about SARs infection, but critics have concerns about a late announcement. The late acknowledgment delayed human intervention. A few doctors, according to Yaxue Cao founder and of ChinaChange.org political pressure group, discussed the threat of a potential outbreak in early December 2019.
A post by a Wuhan doctor in a WeChat group communicated the discovery of seven cases of infection connected to the seafood market. At the time, they thought it was SARS. The doctor had to retract his post after scolding the communist party disciplinary office. The report further reveals that Wuhan health authorities had overnight meetings about the “new type SARS” during the last days of December.
