When blood flows to the brain are cut off or decreased substantially, a Hemorrhagic stroke occurs. Otherwise, brain cells will die instantly, causing irreversible brain damage without blood-borne oxygen. Strokes may be large or small, and the effects can vary from full recovery to death.

The ischemic disorder of the stroke is due to a poor blood flow and an inadequate supply of oxygen to the brain. Ischemic occlusions are responsible for about 85% of the victims of stroke patients, the majority of which are attributed to intracerebral bleeding.

Measurements of the triage group, waiting times, ED time of stay, consultant evaluation time, assessment and monitoring of the symptoms of critical importance, blood glucose and temperature, venous thrombosis and risk assessment of pressure injury, and action before and after application of the guidelines.
